Sustainability begins with a fair price. CabLinks aggregates coffee mainly through individual farmers and farmer groups, and to a small extent agents and local traders, so fewer layers stand between the farm and the market.
We buy on terms that ensure a fair return to the source farmer while remaining competitive for buyers. Long relationships make this possible: repeat purchases, honest feedback, and planning together across seasons.
Beyond price, we invest in the relationship. Farmer groups receive feedback from cupping, guidance on handling and drying, and a reliable buyer for the harvest they have worked all year to produce.
Our partnership with Gorilla Highlands Coffee, a specialty brand from south western Uganda, supports conservation and community work around Bwindi and Mgahinga. It is one example of how good coffee and good outcomes travel together.
