Coffee is aggregated through individual farmers and farmer groups in Kigezi, Rwenzori, West Nile, Mount Elgon and the Central, East Central and Western regions.
Received lots are cleaned, hulled and graded to screen size: Robusta in Screen 12, 15, 17 and 18; Arabica in AA, A, PB and Natural DRUGAR.
Beans pass through colour sorting and hands-on quality checks, cupped and assessed before approval for export.
Coffee is packed in 60kg jute bags, clearly labelled and marked to UCDA requirements, or bagged to buyer specification.
Every consignment is inspected and certified by the responsible government authorities before shipment.
