Every export tells the same disciplined story. It starts with sourcing: coffee is aggregated through individual farmers and farmer groups across Uganda’s growing regions, with each lot recorded at intake.

Next comes processing and quality: cleaning, hulling, grading to screen size, colour sorting and cupping. Lots are then packed in 60kg jute bags, labelled and marked to UCDA requirements, and inspected and certified by the responsible authorities.

Uganda is landlocked, so consignments move by road to port, usually Mombasa or Dar es Salaam, before shipping on FOB or CIF terms. Documentation, from certificate of origin to quality reports, accompanies every consignment.

From our Bugolobi stores to your roastery, one team stays on the file: sampling, contracts, logistics and after sales. Ask us for a shipment timeline with your next offer, and browse the resources page for the documents you will receive.
